I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix - L( o: V' [" _0 F/ ]. w5 _) l9 j

just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
